Bound Hearts

Translation: The Muslim who is captive to the Franks, those Muslims who are ensnared in the prison of Western culture and ideologies, they cannot easily take possession of their hearts. Their hearts should not come easily into their hands for contemplation. For those who bow their heads before the doors of others, who submit themselves to worldly desires, they can never reach the level of devotion exemplified by Abu Dharr (may Allah be pleased with him) and Salman (may Allah be pleased with him). It is beyond their capability to approach the level of humility and devotion demonstrated by these revered figures.
