Awakening Passion

Translation: Secularism, devoid of religious influence, has indeed caused upheaval in the world. Many believe erroneously that the soul is derived from the body, a notion contrary to spiritual understanding. The poet beseeches Prophet Muhammad (S.A.W.W) to give the same wisdom he bestowed upon Abu Bakr Siddiq (R.A), the first caliph of Islam, who faithfully followed in the Prophet’s footsteps. The poet longs for the passion found in Abu Bakr’s soul, devoid of tension, living freely and at ease. The poet thinks that all of us are free from worries. But, he really wants to have the same kind of passion that Abu Bakr had and he wishes that all Muslims around the world have this passionate spirit.
