Restless Love

Translation: What is the nature of this internal upheaval that has taken root within my being? When love takes hold of one’s heart, it becomes ensnared by innumerable challenges and tribulations. Allah, I implore for compassion, for I stand before the very core of my emotions. Even a momentary respite, the briefest pause for a single breath, seems to elude me, as the intensity of this emotional connection from the heart denies me any tranquility.
